Lakes By Yoo, The Dock House – Windows and Door Refurbishment by 3D Aluminium
3D Aluminium was commissioned to refurbish the windows and doors at the prestigious Lakes By Yoo, Lechlade, a waterside property with unique access challenges. Due to low-load bridges and the site’s proximity to the water, vehicle access was restricted, preventing the use of cranes for installation. This meant our team had to park at a distance and carefully transport the heavy aluminium windows using a trolley, navigating uneven terrain to reach the property safely.
To ensure precise installation despite these constraints, our specialist team, with years of experience in complex refurbishments, employed a bespoke pulley system to manoeuvre the windows into place. Their expertise and problem-solving skills were crucial in overcoming the logistical difficulties, allowing us to complete the project efficiently. The client was delighted with the results, as the refurbishment was completed to the highest standard, enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality of The Dock House.
